Root canal treatment is done under local anaesthesia, so you should not feel pain during the procedure. Some teeth are finished in one visit and others need two or three, depending on the tooth and the infection. Dr. Supriya will explain what to expect after examining you.
It depends on how much healthy tooth remains and whether the nerve is infected. Whenever a tooth can be saved, we try to save it. After an examination and X-ray, Dr. Supriya will explain your options before you decide.
Placement is done under local anaesthesia, so you should be comfortable. Mild soreness and swelling for a few days afterwards are normal and are managed with the medicines we prescribe.
